A simple selection of beat lengths to achieve shorter beats and give an even greater degree of flexibility in rhythm. Currently say using 4/4 one slash / is a 1/4 note, or single beat, the need to tinker around with time signature, and tempo to actually start a song that is tricked up to play a bit more realistically is a little bit to involved most people, and time consuming. If you configured a couple more symbols, one to be half the time of the slash, and a second to be a 1/4 of the time of the slash, those along with all the current options would greatly enhance your program with a minimal amount of code, and no basic structure change. Example would be; / = 1/4 note. ' = 1/8 note. " = 1/16 note. Maybe toss in an x as a muted or scratch sounding strum (ukulele players call it a chunk), lower case soft, upper case louder. It's a great little tool to teach with. Thanks..
